Terms of Service

By accessing or using AutoTailorMyResume (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

AutoTailorMyResume is an AI-powered resume tailoring platform. You paste a job description, build a career profile, receive a match report, and export a tailored resume. The Service is available as a web application and uses artificial intelligence to assist with job analysis, profile extraction, match scoring, and content suggestions.

To use the Service, you must register with a valid email address. We use magic link authentication — you will receive a sign-in link via email each time you log in. You are responsible for maintaining access to your email account and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Every account starts with 2 free credits, enough for 2 full tailorings. The free credits are a one-time allowance, not a daily or monthly one, and they do not expire. Using them has no charge and does not require a credit card. The free credits include PDF export and match reports.

If you need more, you can buy an optional credit pack. The current packs are Sprint (10 credits for $8), Search (30 credits for $15), and Marathon (80 credits for $29). One credit tailors one resume to one job. Credit packs are a one-time payment. There is no subscription and nothing renews automatically. Pack names, sizes, and prices are shown before you pay and may change for future purchases; a change does not affect credits you have already bought.

Credits from a pack expire 12 months after the date of purchase. When you use credits, free credits are used first, then the pack that expires soonest. Credits are tied to your account and cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash.

If an analysis or build fails on our side, the credit is refunded to your balance automatically.

Credit pack purchases are processed through Stripe. You are charged once at checkout, and the price is shown before you pay. We do not store your credit card information. All payment data is handled securely by Stripe.

If a purchase is refunded or disputed through Stripe, we remove the unused credits from that pack. Credits you have already used are not recovered from other balances. For a billing question or a refund request, contact us through our contact page.

Earlier versions of the Service offered a paid monthly Pro subscription. That plan is no longer offered, and no new subscriptions can be started.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to access, scrape, or extract data from the Service through automated means (bots, crawlers, etc.).
• Share your account credentials with others or allow multiple individuals to use a single account.
• Upload content that is harmful, offensive, or infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.

Your content: You retain full ownership of all resume content, career profile data, and job descriptions you enter into the Service. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.

Our platform: The Service, including its design, code, templates, branding, and AI models, is owned by AutoTailorMyResume. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without our written permission.

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate suggestions, including match scores, gap analysis, and reframed resume bullets. These AI-generated suggestions are starting points and should be reviewed and edited by you before use.

You are solely responsible for the final content of your resume. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated suggestions. The Service is a tool to assist you — not a substitute for your own judgment.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will result in job interviews, job offers, or any specific employment outcome.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AutoTailorMyResume shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

You may stop using the Service at any time. You can request account deletion by contacting us at our contact page.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days, unless retention is required by law.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or by displaying a notice within the application. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
